Alberto Mamani | Caranavi | Bolivia
Alberto Mamani is one of the elders of the San Ignacio community. He is not first to speak but is always sincere, thougtful, and warm. Like most of his neighbors, he has 10 hectares of land with a small portion dedicated to coffee. With the recent resurgence in the specialty coffee market, Alberto has moved from the traditional Typica to Catuai and now Pacamara as well.
This syrupy and sweet coffee shows Alberto’s excellent quality and tremendous potential and will leave your mouth satisfied with primary notes of brown sugar, nutmeg, roasted hazelnut, and a zest of green apple.
