Bumba Hill | Burundi | Washed

From 2013 to 2020, farmers on Bumba Hill would carry their coffee cherries 10 miles to the nearest washing station! Since 2020 when their neighbors in Ninga Hill built a washing station of their own, Bumba Hill has been able to demonstrate its unique characteristics. This cup has the balance of a meyer lemon, the tanginess of a kumquat, and hints of florals all mixed with a pleasant, down-to-earth sweetness, much like a good black tea.

Bumba Hill comprises 620 families each with an average of 250 trees in their gardens. We are excited to be part of the growth Bumba families have seen and invest into continued growth.
